In this scheme, 25,000 new students brilliants are selected every year and fetch Rs. 20,000 and a scholarship of Rs 25,000 per year during the studies of class 11 to 12.

Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Scheme:
For that, the new 'Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Scheme' was implemented to select the bright Gujarat students from the said state and award them scholarships to study in independent schools of their choice from class 9 to 12.
It is decided to take the “Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program 2024" conducted by the State Examination Board (SEB) for this Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Scheme. This test will be carried out as follows.

➡️ Application forms for this test must be completed online at the website www.sebexam.org from 29/01/2024 to 09/02/2024.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program Eligibility to take the Test
➡️ have studied in public or subsidized primary schools consecutively from class 1 to 8 and are studying or passing class 8;
EITHER
➡️ subject to the provisions of Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act 2009, up to 25% of the students admitted to Class I at that time who are studying for or have passed Class VIII,
➡️ and in the case of (a) and (b) above whose guardian's income is below the income limit prescribed for admission under Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act, 2009 is currently Rs. 1,50,000 (one lakh fifty thousand) and for rural area Rs. 1,20,000 (One Lakh Twenty Thousand) students will be able to take the test.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program Exam fee
➡️ There will be no fee for the Jnana Sadhana Prakharta exam.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program Test structure
➡️ The entrance exam will have a multi-choice and multi-purpose format (based on MCQ-based multiple-choice questions).
➡️ The access test questionnaire will be 120 points and the duration will be 150 minutes.
➡️ The medium of the entrance examination will be in Gujarati/English language.
➡️ The entrance exam will have the following subjects and grades.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program Type of test
(1) MAT Intellectual Aptitude Test
(2) SAT Scholastic Aptitude Test
In case of equal merit of the students, the State Board of Examinations will have the final authority to decide the method of preparation of the selection list.
30 minutes of additional time will be available for students with visual impairments.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program Syllabus
➡️ The 40 questions of the MAT' Mental Aptitude Test will be verbal and non-verbal logical reasoning. These questions will have topic based questions on analogy, classification, number series, pattern perception, hidden figure.
➡️ The 80 questions of SAT Scholastic Aptitude Test will include Mathematics-20 marks, Science-20 marks and Social Science-15 marks, English-10 marks, Gujarati-10, Hindi-5 marks Class-8 subjects.
The class-8 curriculum will be from the previous subject.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program Exam Center
➡️ The test/exam centers will be decided by the State Board of Examinations, Gandhinagar in that taluka in the state of Gujarat according to the number of students registered for the exam and exam oriented administrative expediency. The student has to appear for the exam at the exam center assigned by the board in his/her charge.
➡️ Test result and provisional merit list The result of this test will be published on the website of the State Board of Examinations www.sebexam.org.
➡️ The Gandhinagar State Board of Examinations will submit the list of bright students who have scored above the limit in the Gyan Sadhana Aptitude Test to the Director of the Gandhinagar Schools Office.
Gyan Sadhana Scholarship Program How to apply online
Regarding this announcement from the State Board of Examinations from 05/11/2023 (03:00 PM) to 05/26/2023 (12:00 PM) online only at http://www.sebexam.org Will be accepted the application form. The following are the instructions for the candidate to fill the prescribed form online. A student has to follow the following steps to apply.
The application form must be completed online accurately. The name, surname, date of birth, caste (rank) or any other matter may not be subsequently changed by the Board. Take special note of that.
The entire form has to be filled in English. 4) For government/assisted school students, the school must also make arrangements to complete the form.

➡️ Click "Apply Online".
➡️ Clicking Apply Now will display the application format. First Adhar JDI has to be inserted in the application form. This is what the AUTO FILL details will look like. After checking the remaining details, the student must complete. (Details where there is a red asterisk (*) must be completed here.)
➡️ By clicking Confirm Application, the board will accept the student's application online. Here the confirmation number will be generated. Which is necessary for all subsequent procedures, the student has to save. The student must show this confirmation number when making any correspondence or representation with the board.
A student can take the entrance exam in the medium of her choice, between Gujarati or English.
