શું છે Holistic Progress Card (HPC)?
HPC એ પરંપરાગત રિપોર્ટ કાર્ડ કરતાં સાવ અલગ છે. તે બાળકની શીખવાની પ્રક્રિયા, તેની ક્ષમતાઓ, સામાજિક-ભાવનાત્મક વિકાસ અને કૌશલ્યોનું એક વિગતવાર પ્રતિબિંબ છે.

વિકાસના ત્રણ મુખ્ય લક્ષ્યો (Developmental Goals):
લક્ષ્ય 1: બાળક સારું સ્વાસ્થ્ય અને સુખાકારી જાળવે (Health and Wellbeing).
લક્ષ્ય 2: બાળક અસરકારક રીતે પ્રત્યાયન કરે (Effective Communication).
લક્ષ્ય 3: બાળક શીખવામાં સક્રિય રીતે જોડાય અને પોતાની આસપાસના વાતાવરણ સાથે જોડાય (Involved Learners).
પ્રવૃત્તિ આધારિત મૂલ્યાંકન:
અહીં કોઈ લેખિત પરીક્ષા નથી, પરંતુ બાળક રમતગમત, ચિત્રકામ, વાર્તા કહેવી અને જૂથ પ્રવૃત્તિઓમાં કેવી રીતે ભાગ લે છે તેના આધારે તેની પ્રગતિ નોંધવામાં આવે છે.
સ્વ-મૂલ્યાંકન અને સાથી મિત્રો દ્વારા મૂલ્યાંકન:
બાળક પોતે શું શીખ્યું તે વિચારે અને તેના મિત્રો પણ તેના વિશે હકારાત્મક નોંધ લખે તેવો નવીન અભિગમ અહીં અપનાવવામાં આવ્યો છે.
વાલીઓની ભાગીદારી:
ઘરે બાળક કેવી પ્રવૃત્તિઓ કરે છે, તેની ટેવો કેવી છે તે અંગે વાલીઓએ પણ આ કાર્ડમાં વિગતો ભરવાની રહેશે.
શિક્ષકો માટે નોંધવા જેવી બાબતો
નિરીક્ષણ (Observation):
શિક્ષકે સતત બાળકની રુચિ અને તેની શીખવાની ગતિનું નિરીક્ષણ કરવાનું રહેશે.
પોર્ટફોલિયો:
બાળકે બનાવેલી કૃતિઓ, ચિત્રો કે અન્ય પ્રવૃત્તિઓનો સંગ્રહ (Portfolio) કરવો જે HPC ભરવામાં મદદરૂપ થશે.
હકારાત્મક અભિગમ:
કાર્ડનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય બાળકને પાસ-ફેલ કરવાનો નથી, પરંતુ તેને ક્યાં મદદની જરૂર છે તે જાણવાનો છે.
નિષ્કર્ષ:
HPC એ ખરા અર્થમાં બાળકના વ્યક્તિત્વને ખીલવવાનું સાધન છે. આ નવી પદ્ધતિથી બાળકો પરથી પરીક્ષાનો બોજ ઘટશે અને તેઓ આનંદ સાથે શિક્ષણ મેળવી શકશે. ગુજરાતની પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓમાં આ અમલીકરણ શિક્ષણના સ્તરને નવી ઊંચાઈ પર લઈ જશે.
